Customers with delivery addresses outside of the UK are responsible for their own applicable Duties, VAT and import taxes. These are not included in the cost of shipping. Apolina is not liable for customers import charges.
Please understand, we have no control over these costs. They are set and collected by each receiving countries government and vary widely depending on your location. You can usually find details of the import tax on your local government website.
Refusal to pay duties or refusal to accept a package is not an acceptable way to return unwanted goods. Refusal of parcels does not mean the package will be returned safely to Apolina, in some cases the goods will be destroyed.
We can not be held liable for refunding customers in this case. If we do receive a refused parcel back at our warehouse we will always deduct reimportation tax from any refund owed. We will also deduct the associated costs from our fulfilment company who charge to receive and unpack the parcel, steam and fold goods and return items back into warehouse stock.
The standard / average charge for returned parcels of 1 clothing item (due to refusal of duty) is £18.35. This fee is made up of £12.35 courier's return to origin postage cost + warehouse reprocessing costs. This increases per item returned.
Please note the original postage fee is non refundable.
HOMEWARES
We have a separate shipping charge for our homeware products due to the size of parcels. All orders will come via DHL premium express courier.

Unfortunately, we are unable to mark packages as "gift" or "no commercial value".
Apolina goods are made in India, but they are shipped from United Kingdom. Apolina is a UK registered company, but our products are not of UK origin. This means that Apolina goods do not qualify for preferential duty on the basis of India origin or on the basis of UK origin.
Maximum weight per order applies (Roughly 10 items).
