SHIPPING UPDATE

We are aware that many International Postal Services are still suffering disruption with their normal deliveries.

We have, therefore, decided to continue with our use of DHL shipping for non UK customers.

We are subsidising the cost of this DHL courier service but appreciate that the cost is still more expensive than our previous economy (Royal Mail) shipping rates. We believe, however, that the courier service gives the additional assurance of timely delivery through its use of a well-developed tracking facility. The service provides accurate and frequent information on the location of customers goods throughout the delivery cycle which standard postal delivery services do not offer.

For our customers in China, South Korea, Japan and USA we believe that delivery by courier is the only sensible option at this time. We will not be offering our previous 'standard' post option.

We appreciate your support and understanding on this issue, and hope that the 'Express' (DHL) shipping option will provide peace of mind for all.

Unfortunately, we are unable to mark packages as "gift" or "no commercial value".

Customers with delivery addresses outside of the UK are responsible for their own applicable Duties, VAT and import taxes. These are not included in the cost of shipping. Apolina is not liable for customers import charges.

We have no control over these costs. They are set by each countries government and vary widely depending on your location. You can usually find details of the import tax on your local government website.

Refusal to pay duties or refusal to accept your parcel does not constitute a return. Goods are not necessarily returned safely to us if you refuse them. This refusal process generally attracts a fee for us to receive the goods back. This will always be deducted from any return value the customer may be entitled to.

Apolina will not be held liable for fees relating to any customers refusal to pay Duties/ VAT and associated costs.

Maximum weight per order applies (Roughly 10 items).
