This month we visit Katherine Thomas in Byron Bay, Australia. Katherine was born and raised in the UK, but now lives close to Byron Bay. She is the owner of 'East Coast General' store (our first Australian stockist), and mama to 3 year old Beatrice.
What's the best way to spend a morning in your hometown?
Our perfect morning would be family walk on the beach with the dog, followed by a coffee in our local cafe.
Which is your favourite park?
Since moving to Australia we have traded parks for beaches and our favourite has to be 'Christmas Beach' for a relaxed family day.
What’s your most inspiring gallery or museum?
We always love a trip to the V&A when we head back home to England to visit family. Locally we enjoy visiting small independent Galleries like Yeah Nice Gallery.
Do you have a favourite spot for dinner with kids?
We love to visit The Farm, an amazing restaurant set on a working farm that serves all locally produced meals. It’s a great spot with so much space for the little one to run around, and she loves to see all the animals, especially the Highland cows.

And what's your favourite day trip out of town?
On our days off we love to go exploring the hinterland, a few of our favourite spots are Minyon Falls, and Nightcap National Park.
